About the role
- This position involves driving a powered industrial truck equipped with forklift, to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials in warehouse or factory Pay Band and Position Status
- The following duties are normal for this position.
- Loads and unloads skids/pallets on/off trailers and transports to various areas within the plant
Requirements
- May be required to work on the production assembly line
- Minimum of 2 years driving experience
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Knowledge of warehouse software applications
- Knowledge of Shipping and receiving documentation
- Knowledge of inventory would be an asset

- Places and removes skids from assigned bunks in safe manner
- Ensures counts are accurate on materials being received and shipped
- Wraps and straps completed skids from production line
- Exercises care for the safety of personnel, property and materials at all times
- Enters data into company systems as directed
- Completes daily maintenance check on the equipment and reports issues/problems to Manager
- Cleans up work area at the end of the shift as directed
- Ensures and supports to make sure Food safety, Quality, HACCP and GMP is always followed.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Valid Forklift Licence
