About the role

Responsibilities

  • We expect employees to properly care for and maintain their equipment and to use downtime for maintenance or other improvement work.
  • This entry-level field position assists with preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, monitoring support, and site inspections to help maximize system performance, availability, and safety.
  • The Solar O&M Technician I works under the direction of the Lead Solar O&M Technician and follows established procedures and requirements for safety, company standards, and customer requirements.

Nice to have

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 0-2 years of experience in solar, electrical, construction, industrial maintenance, or related field preferred.
  • Basic understanding of electrical safety and hand/power tool use.
  • Ability to read and interpret site Engineering drawings, maps, and equipment manuals.
  • Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal procedures/instructions.
  • Good problem-solving and observation skills.
