About the role
- Assume primary responsibility for all respiratory care modalities, including the supervision of respiratory care students.
- Provides high quality respiratory care to the following patient populations: Neonate, Infant, Toddler, School Age, Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric.
Responsibilities
- Initiate and conduct therapeutic procedures; maintain patient records; and select, assemble, check, and operate equipment.
Requirements
- Required:
- RRT- Graduate of an AMA approved Respiratory Therapist program. Credentialed by the NBRC as a RRT.
- CRT- Credentialed by the NBRC as a CRT. Licensed by the State of Iowa as RCP.
- Preferred:
- Health care experience within the last five years.
- Proficient using computers.
