About the role
- The Touch-Up / Rework Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and reworking printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) and mechanical assemblies that do not meet quality standards.
- This position requires strong soldering skills, the ability to interpret engineering documentation, and experience performing precision repairs on electronic assemblies using hand tools and specialized equipment.
Requirements
- Support debug and test teams by troubleshooting assembly failures when required
- Experience performing soldering and rework on electronic assemblies
- Ability to work under microscope for fine-pitch components
- Familiarity with SMT and through-hole component repair
- Candidates are not required to disclose criminal history or participate in a background check unless and until a conditional offer of employment has been made.
Nice to have
- IPC certification such as IPC‑A‑610 or IPC‑7711/7721
- Experience with BGA/QFN component rework
- Prior work in electronics manufacturing or contract manufacturing
- Experience supporting failure analysis or debug teams
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Ability to work under magnification for detailed work
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
Compensation
- $22 - $24 USD
