Requirements
- Proficiency in nutrition software to track and support nutritional knowledge and support, motivational interviewing, and evidence-based dietary guidelines.
- Must have a valid Oregon driver's license and willing to travel as needed
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent</sp
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting labs and root-cause analysis.
- Excellent communication and coaching for client education and motivation.
- Knowledge of biochemistry, nutrigenomics, and holistic health (e.g., gut-brain axis).
- Interpersonal skills for building trust in collaborative environments.
- At least 1 year of job-related experience in nutrition and/or wellness/lifestyle coaching.
Benefits
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments, including detailed health histories, symptom analysis, and current lab assessment ordered and interpreted by a Medical Provider.
- Collaborate with medical providers to co-manage patient care, providing nutrition recommendations that complement medical treatments and monitor progress through follow-up visits.
- Document patient encounters, care plans, and outcomes in electronic health records (EHR) systems in alignment with provider directives, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and clinic protocols.
- Maintain current knowledge of emerging research in functional nutrition and integrative health through continuing education ensuring alignment with clinical best practices and organizational standards.
- Contribute to the development of training and educational programs for the Functional Health team
