About the role
- The Anatomy and Physiology position is responsible for teaching four sections of Anatomy and Physiology, either lecture or laboratory as needed, of BIO 175/BIO 176 A&P for Nursing, and/or BIO 260/BIO 261 A&P for Allied Health.
- In addition, this position would be expected to work with other full-time course faculty to prepare laboratory sections, as well as work towards continually improving course pedagogy.
- BIO 175/176 serves ~120 nursing students a year, while BIO 260/261 serves ~200 students in a variety of majors including Biomedical Sciences, Pharmacy, and Health Science.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the design and oversight of the lecture and laboratory content, in coordination with the other full-time A&P instructors.
Requirements
- A Masters degree in disciplines focused on human anatomy and/or physiology.
- A Doctorate or other terminal degree in disciplines focused on human anatomy and/or physiology.
Compensation
- The estimated pay range for this position is $62,000-$65,000 annually.
- Offered salary will be commensurate with work experience and educational background.
