About the role

- This will be a full-time, exempt position located in our Long Beach location.
Responsibilities
- Perform system-level reliability analyses, such as fault tree analysis, building reliability block diagrams, and perform failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA/FMECA)
- Perform reliability predictions using a variety of methodologies, including electronics reliability predictions
- Develop and maintain spaceflight component reliability data
- Experience developing reliability models of spacecraft, launch site and/or launch vehicle systems
Requirements
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted
- Experience with performing reliability analyses including Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA)
- Ability to form relationships with experts from varying engineering fields and provide constructive feedback about safety and reliability concerns

- Experience with human-rated, safety critical systems
- Experience with failure reporting and corrective action systems (FRACAS)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, fluid schematics, and electrical circuit diagrams
Compensation
- $112,340 - $159,468 USD
- Base salary will vary depending on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, business needs, and market demand.
