About the role
- We're looking for someone to join DOZR http://www.dozr.com/ as a Finance Coordinator.
- DOZR is a two-sided marketplace that helps contractors and DIYers rent the construction equipment they need, where and when they need it.
- Every rental on DOZR becomes an invoice, a payment, a supplier payout - and occasionally a damage claim.
Responsibilities
- We buy and build companies that help people find and buy the products they love.
- you'll own customer billing end-to-end - generating accurate invoices for rentals (including extensions, overages, fuel and damage charges), issuing credits and adjustments when needed, and resolving billing disputes quickly and fairly.
- you'll own the monthly commissions process for our sales team - calculating payouts, validating the underlying deal data, resolving questions, and getting everything to payroll on time.
- you'll support month-end close - coding transactions, reconciling accounts and payment processors, and helping with journal entries so we can close fast and trust the numbers.
- you'll support claims when equipment is damaged or lost - gathering documentation, filing and tracking claims with insurers, and following each one through to recovery.
- Someone who wants to automate the boring parts of their own job and reinvest that time in higher-value work
Requirements

- You have a high bar (some would say "unrealistic") for yourself and those you work with.
