About the role

Due to the introduction of advanced technology, MCI is looking at bringing a portion of their maintenance in-house.
We are seeking a Red Seal Electrician, Millwright, or Machinist to join the team.

Must have electrical or mechanical certifications.
Experience within manufacturing/industrial environment with exposure to CNC equipment.
Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical.
Related experience in manufacturing, Industrial Mechanics or Electrical Ticket is a definite asset.
Self-motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision as well as in a team environment.
Must be able to read mechanical and electrical schematics.
Must have knowledge of air, power and hand tools.
Must be able to repair and maintain various industrial and electrical equipment and machinery.
Must be able to troubleshoot breakdowns.

POSITION SUMMARY This unionized position repairs various machines and equipment throughout the production facility and performs general maintenance and repairs to the building and offices.
This position is represented by the International Association of Machinists (IAM).
