About the role

You'll be based full-time in our New York City office, near Union Square.
Financial modeling of project acquisitions, portfolios, and projects geared toward evaluating new markets, participants, products, or corporate acquisitions
Assist with transaction management, including due diligence (data rooms/research), project documentation, transaction closing, portfolio management, and other tasks directed by management

Partner with internal teams, including business development, legal, marketing, engineering, and project analysis, to evaluate and support opportunities from origination to closing
Experience building DCF models in Excel to calculate financial return and risk metrics in support of pricing, financing, and M&A transactions
The investment enables Scale to own and operate billions of dollars in distributed generation assets.

A bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, economics, mathematics, computer science, or other relevant quantitative course of study
Experience preparing term sheets and presentations, including Confidential Information Memoranda
Highly proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
Google Sheets, Capital IQ, Python/programming skills are a plus.
Willingness to take direction and engage team members with mutual respect and collegiality
An ability to break complex problems into their simplest parts
Ability/willingness to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with time-sensitive deadlines
