Responsibilities

  • Develop, coach and lead a team of high performing Territory Managers and Field Agronomists.
  • Drive performance results including but not limited to revenue and discounts, market share, penetration, concentration, retention, cross-sell of product lines, and expense budgets.
  • Effectively communicates, supports and implements company product, marketing and other initiatives to drive the desired results.
  • Lead and drive district strategy and tactical plans that capitalize on market opportunities, and align with the Illiana Area Strategy and company goals and policies.
  • Actively support the Illiana Area Leadership Team by participating in meetings, helping create and drive strategy, leading projects and collaborating in sharing of ideas, best practices and market opportunities.
  • Collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders including but not limited to the Illiana Leadership team, finance, supply, sales support and sales leaders from other areas of Corteva
  • Develop strong relationships with the Pioneer Sales Agencies within the district.
  • Strong ability to build relationships, collaborate and create buy-in.
  • Ability to use market intelligence, data and feedback to create insights, drive action and influence change.

Requirements

  • If hired, you may be required to travel as necessary to support business activities.

Skills

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent.
  • Eight (8) years of Ag marketing or sales experience to include the management, coaching and development of employees and teams.
  • Demonstrated experience working with multiple functional areas of a seed business.
  • Intermediate level understanding of corn and soybean production and the Pioneer route-to-market.

Compensation

  • Four weeks of paid time off and two weeks of well-being pay per year, plus paid holidays
