Responsibilities
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to instructions that may be furnished by way of written document, oral command or diagram.
- Maintains, regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.

Requirements
- Avade 2 (restraint) training completion required within 6 months of hire into role.
- Valid Driver's License required
- Successful completion of Management of Aggressive Behavior within 30 days of hire required.
- Must be able to run, stoop, crawl, climb stairs, carry another human being, and stand for long periods of time without any physical limitations and during all kinds of weather conditions.
- Must be familiar with and possess the ability (manual dexterity) to operate a public safety vehicle, emergency lights, public safety radios, radio scanners, telephones, MDT, etc.
- Attends variety of meetings, conferences, seminars as required or directed.
- Performs other similar and related duties as required or directed.
Skills
- Three years related experience and/or training in public safety.
- Department-specific competencies and their measurements will be developed and maintained in the individual departments.
- The competencies will be maintained and attached to the departmental job description.
- Responsible managers will review competencies with position incumbents.

Compensation
- Obtain and satisfactorily complete the initial 8 hour Hospital Orientation Program and Annual Competency Reviews and any other training as may be occasionally mandated.
