About the role
- Telesat is headquartered in Ottawa, Canada, and has offices and facilities around the world.
- The company's state-of-the-art Satellite fleet consists of 12 GEO satellites, the Canadian payload on ViaSat-1 and one LEO 3 demonstration satellite.
- The ideal candidate will have strong experience in deploying, scaling, and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters both on-prem and in the public cloud, along with a solid understanding of cloud and bare-metal infrastructure.
Requirements
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment are essential.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Proven experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
- Three years of proven experience with Azure and its Kubernetes service
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation
