About the role

- This is a fast-paced, highly collaborative role ideal for someone with strong editorial instincts, excellent writing skills, and a deep understanding of how social platforms actually work.

Responsibilities
- Support daily social publishing across Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn and emerging platforms
- Help manage social calendars across multiple brands to ensure consistent, timely posting
- Collaborate with editorial, video, and art teams to develop social-first content
- Perform light video editing for social (Reels, TikTok), including trimming clips, adding text, and basic formatting
- Create or adapt simple visual assets using templates and established brand guidelines
- Track performance and share insights to help optimize content
- Support community engagement and audience interaction as needed
- In addition, PMC owns several vital cultural events such as SXSW, LA3C, and Latin Music Week.

Requirements
- At least 2-4 years of experience in social media, ideally in editorial, media, or fashion/beauty
- Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, InDesign, Canva, or similar tools
- Exceptional organization skills and the ability to juggle multiple brands and priorities

Compensation
- A good faith estimate of the salary range is $67,000 - $75,000 upon hire.
