Candidates should have strong scientific programming skills in modern languages such as Python or C++. Experience in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data-driven modeling applied to large astronomical datasets and time-domain surveys is highly desirable. Expertise in one or more of the following areas is preferred: atmospheric characterization of Earth-like exoplanets using reflected-light spectroscopy
  • Additional Information:
  • The Department of Astronomy, within the College of Arts and Sciences, seeks several Postdoctoral Scholars to join our team. The College of Arts and Sciences is the largest college and the academic heart of the university. The College hosts 81 majors.   • The target hiring range is $65,000-$68,000. The actual salary will fall within this range based on internal equity, the candidate's qualifications and available funding. The position is for up to 3 years with an expected start date of Fall 2026. The position will be based on the OSU main campus in Columbus, Ohio, USA.
