- This role serves as a customer-facing solution architect, working closely with program stakeholders to define and implement PLM capabilities that support the organization's digital thread strategy.
- The Functional Architect leads the translation of business processes and engineering workflows into scalable Teamcenter configurations and enterprise solution architectures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or other Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience working with Siemens Teamcenter PLM Minimum 3+ years of experience in business process architecture, PLM consulting, or functional solution design.
- Strong understanding of Teamcenter configuration and administration, including workflows, lifecycle management, and security models.
- Experience supporting integration between Teamcenter and external enterprise systems.
- Experience leading data migration and system transition initiatives.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in Agile software development environments.
Nice to have
- Programming skills leveraging Java, JSP, J2EE, XML, JSON, and HTML5.
- Experience with Teamcenter Dispatcher, Batch utilities, and migration tools.
- Experience with Teamcenter installation, patching, and upgrades.
- Familiarity with database management systems (e.g. Oracle and SQL Server) and SQL scripting.
- Experience with and certifications in Agile software development methodologies.
- Experience with Fortify or other security scanning tools.
- Experience with AWS cloud services.
- Experience working within Linux-based Teamcenter environments, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux and shell scripting.
