This role serves as a customer-facing solution architect, working closely with program stakeholders to define and implement PLM capabilities that support the organization's digital thread strategy.
The Functional Architect leads the translation of business processes and engineering workflows into scalable Teamcenter configurations and enterprise solution architectures.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or other Engineering discipline.
Minimum 5+ years of experience working with Siemens Teamcenter PLM Minimum 3+ years of experience in business process architecture, PLM consulting, or functional solution design.
Strong understanding of Teamcenter configuration and administration, including workflows, lifecycle management, and security models.
Experience supporting integration between Teamcenter and external enterprise systems.
Experience leading data migration and system transition initiatives.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in Agile software development environments.

Programming skills leveraging Java, JSP, J2EE, XML, JSON, and HTML5.
Experience with Teamcenter Dispatcher, Batch utilities, and migration tools.
Experience with Teamcenter installation, patching, and upgrades.
Familiarity with database management systems (e.g. Oracle and SQL Server) and SQL scripting.
Experience with and certifications in Agile software development methodologies.
Experience with Fortify or other security scanning tools.
Experience with AWS cloud services.
Experience working within Linux-based Teamcenter environments, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux and shell scripting.
