  • Experience in installation, configuration, tuning, troubleshooting, and administering various application server stacks (web servers, application servers, caches, message queues).

Requirements

  • The applicant must be knowledgeable of traditional and emerging infrastructure and application solutions including Midrange, Application, Data Services, and Systems Management.
  • The applicant must have a sound understanding of designing and constructing middleware systems that will leverage these solutions.
  • Experience in supporting vital WAS and/or tcServer environments
  • Must have wide range of technical expertise, client server, virtualized systems, Cloud (PaaS, IaaS)

Skills

  • Experience in installing fix packs and DST patches.
  • Good understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC).
  • Must possess a familiarity of the Java programming languages to assist developers in debugging applications.
  • Very good understanding of process/application/JVM tuning, JAVA concepts, application interaction w OS/network tiers/backends.
  • Expert knowledge IBM Datastage and Tivoli
  • Skill in using analysis, logic and reasoning to troubleshoot issues and find the best solutions to challenges.
  • Experience in using monitoring tools like Dynatrace and Splunk.
  • Strong familiarity with PCI and PII compliance & standards.
  • Familiar with CA Siteminder configuration and usage.
  • Experience with Oracle, vPostgres and DB2 databases.
  • Experience implementing and managing SSL certificates.
