About the role
- In this role, you'll work directly with our CEO to help determine in whom, what, where, when, and why Learneo invests.
- You will research and recommend potential investments across categories, asset classes, and deal types.
- You'll do the deep research behind those decisions and turn it into a clear view on where our capital should go.
Responsibilities
- You'll drive the entire process, including recommending investment themes, creating market maps, deep dives, sourcing, analyzing, diligencing, and recommending specific investments.
- Develop Learneo's perspective on where to invest: researching, sizing, and stress-testing potential investment themes across emerging categories, verticals, and asset classes
- Source and own outreach with target companies and founders, and build systems for tracking companies and knowing when to engage
- Help build Learneo's market intelligence function from the ground up, including building scorecard criteria and a repeatable evaluation process for investment and acquisition decisions
Requirements
- Advanced ability to translate quantitative and qualitative research into concise, actionable recommendations for senior audiences
