- With prime access to shops, local restaurants, the Business District, riverfront trails, and convenient public transit, the property provides an engaging environment for hospitality professionals passionate about dynamic, urban hospitality.
- The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while delivering exceptional guest service.
Responsibilities
- Blending historic character with modern lifestyle design, The Industrialist in downtown Pittsburgh offers an authentic guest experience.
- This role ensures accurate drink preparation, maintains bar cleanliness, promotes responsible alcohol service, and contributes to a welcoming and efficient bar environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar area, including counters, equipment, and glassware.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Knowledge of drink recipes, mixology, and POS systems required.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and cocktail preparation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods.
Nice to have
- Bartending certification preferred (where applicable).
- Minimum 1 year of bartending or high-volume restaurant/bar experience preferred.
Skills
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Strong cash-handling and basic math skills.
