About the role
- We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Endoscopy Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Prepares, maintains, and ensures the proper functioning of endoscopic equipment and instruments for procedures in accordance with established protocols and safety standards
- Conducts comprehensive assessments of patient needs to deliver appropriate supportive care before, during, and after procedures
- Anticipates needs and assists in maintaining appropriate inventory levels of supplies to support efficient procedural workflow
Requirements
- Demonstrate expertise in aseptic techniques and their application in clinical settings
- Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology
- Knowledge and experience in diagnostic evaluation processes
Nice to have
- Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Diagnostic Endoscopy, Therapeutic Endoscopy, Infusion, and Advanced Therapeutics.
- High school graduate or equivalent required
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience in a clinic setting preferred
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing procedure rooms, cleaning and disinfecting equipment, and ensuring all instruments are properly sterilized and ready for use.
- This role plays a key part in supporting a safe, efficient workflow for both patients and providers.
- Strong attention to detail, adherence to infection-control standards, and the ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment are essential.
