About the role
- As a member of the Sourcing team, you will be responsible for the commodity strategy including supplier management and performance.

Responsibilities
- Ability to develop strong supplier relationships
- Partner with corporate sourcing teams to leverage preferred sources.
- Develop and manage strong supplier relationships and be the key point of contact.
- Manage supplier corrective actions and improvement plans for permanent solutions to problems.
- Establish goals with key suppliers manage performance reviews and make recommendations to address issues and exploit opportunities.
- Ability to drive lean/continuous improvement activities with suppliers.
- Lead activities to reduce supplier lead-times for management of working capital and improving responsiveness to our customers.
- Develop and manage supplier contracts in a manner that insures all requirements and special terms and conditions are met.
- Perform analysis of supplier spend data and achieve deflation budget.
- Lead commodity cost reduction projects.
Requirements
- Work is primarily light duty and requires the ability to regularly lift and carry objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or five (5) years of manufacturing experience
