About the role
- As the Advisor, you will help students navigate through their college experience successfully, assessing their academic skills and working with them to determine best possible approaches for academic improvement and development.
- You will provide resources available on campus and provide referrals when necessary.
Responsibilities
- Washington State University Tri Cities and TRIO Student Support Services (TRIO SSS) is now accepting applications for an Advisor.
- TRIO SSS provides direct support to TRIO participants who are first-generation, limited-income students, and individuals with disabilities.
- As the TRIO Advisor you will provide personal coaching and academic advising support to student participants.
Requirements
- A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for one (1) year of professional work experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word).
- Ability to prioritize job tasks effectively.

Nice to have
- Master's degree in related field
- Bilingual: fluent oral and written communication skills in a language other than English.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise professional judgment and leadership, including the ability to work collaboratively and independently.

Compensation
- Monthly Salary: $4,050.92 - $5,100.00 | Commensurate with experience and qualifications
