About the role

  • Our bank client is seeking to fill a Chief Financial Officer role in the Baltimore, MD area.
  • This role will also oversee the Accounting and Finance Department, budget preparation, and audit functions as well as work with other department heads to monitor the financial results for each department and make recommendations.
  • Supervise the Budgeting Process for the Bank and its Affiliates.

Responsibilities

  • Chief Financial Officer responsibilities include: Manage the Asset/Liability profile of the Bank and its Affiliates.

  • The position is responsible for overseeing the financial activities of the corporation, direct the preparation of current financial reports and summaries, and create forecasts predicting future growth.
  • Manage the Asset/Liability profile of the Bank and its Affiliates.
  • Lead the Liquidity Risk Management process of the Bank and serve as a member of the Asset/Liability Committee.

Requirements

  • Supervise preparation of Call Reports and other periodic regulatory reports, as required.
  • regulatory responses and other items, as required.
  • Interface with the Bank's Board of Directors and provide Board updates relating to the financial management of the Bank and its Affiliates, as required.

Nice to have

  • You also bring the following skills and experience: A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or a related area is required
  • a Graduate Degree or CPA is preferred.

Skills

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or a related area is required; a Graduate Degree or CPA is preferred.
  • Experience with FDIC and other regulatory exams.
  • Proficiency in reading and analyzing financial statements in a regulated environment.
  • Demonstrates professional judgement, consistency and strong attention to detail.
  • Superb facilitation, customer service, oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to supervise others, make decisions and analyze data.

Compensation

  • The opportunity has a generous salary of up to $160K and a benefits package. (This is not a remote position).
