About the role
- Summary The Collections Agent is responsible for supporting accounts receivable collection activities through accurate account maintenance, customer communication, and timely follow-up on outstanding balances.
- This role serves as the first point of contact for customer inquiries related to invoices, payments, and account status while ensuring data accuracy and excellent customer service.
- We also provide a 401(k) plan with employer match, flexible spending accounts, employee discount program and an employee referral program.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily collection activities on assigned accounts.
- Process and maintain customer account information and collection documentation.
- Maintain professional and positive customer relationships.
- Support month-end collection and reporting activities as needed.
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting or equivalent.
- 2+ years of accounts receivable collections experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in collection processes, reconciliation, and dispute resolution.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
Skills
- Proficiency with QuickBooks (basic)
- Excel and reporting (medium)
- Preferred
- Experience in Revenue Cycle Management
- Proficiency with ERP and revenue cycle software systems.
Compensation
- $70,000 - $90,000 USD
