About the role

- This position is based in Orange County, CA.
- General Description: The Regional Safety Manager plays a critical role in protecting our people, supporting our projects, and strengthening our safety culture across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Champion a proactive, people-first safety culture build on trust, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Serve as a visible safety leader in the field, building strong relationships with Project Teams, Superintendents, and other site safety professionals.
- Coach and support field leadership in leading safety conversations, observations, and planning safe construction-related activities.
- Support the development and execution of site-specific safety plans, job hazard analyses (JHAs), and pre-task planning.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits across all departments to identify hazards and create safety awareness at the sites and offices.
- Lead incident investigations using root cause analysis techniques to determine underlying issues and prevent recurrence.
- Partner with leadership to implement lessons learned and prevent recurrence.
- Maintain accurate written reports related to safety incidents, inspections, and compliance documentation.
Skills
- 5+ years of safety experience in the construction industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Safety, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
- OSHA 30 (OSHA 500/510 or equivalent a plus).
- Professional safety certification (e.g. CSP, ASP, CHST) preferred.
- Certifications such as First Aid, CPR, and OSHA 30 Certification are highly desirable.
- Strong report writing skills with the ability to analyze root causes of incidents efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills for training & development purposes.
- Experience in training staff on safety procedures and compliance requirements.
