About the role

- The job holder is responsible for planning, leading and executing all activities associated with the delivery of commercial aircraft cabin modifications of Airbus aircraft in service.

Responsibilities
- The Senior STC Project Manager works closely with Airline Customers, maintenance facilities (MRO's) and internal Airbus STC solutions engineering and supply chain experts to deliver an end to end solution for the Airline.
- Meet the team: Our Engineers have the privilege of working on complex, highly engineered machines and are involved at all stages of the aircraft life cycle, from product development to manufacturing and direct support to our airline customers.
- Your working environment: The Engineering Center in Mobile, Alabama houses hundreds of Airbus engineers who assist in the design and development of Airbus commercial aircraft cabins, including aftermarket upgrades, reconfigurations and services of all product types across the globe.

- Your challenges: Manage a portfolio of small/medium/large cabin STC projects in front of Customers from contract signature until project closure.
- Develop comprehensive project plans and master schedules, including timelines, milestones, and critical paths.
- Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project, ensuring milestones are met.
- Provide support to Offer Managers for new offers and generate delta offers.
- Contribute to the Airbus upgrade organization profitability and manage the P&L for the individual projects, including execution within the predefined budget and invoicing.
- Provide technical support to sales to ensure offers Customer acceptance in accordance with AOP targets.
Requirements
- When required, assist the Customer preparing the upgrade solution embodiment and support the embodiment phase.
- Conduct continuous risk / opportunity assessments, developing mitigation strategies when required.
- Your boarding pass: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aeronautical, Civil, Electrical) or a Business-related field.
- Minimum of 9 years of experience within the aviation industry.
Nice to have
- Demonstrated ability to condense highly complex, technical aircraft data into clear, detailed presentations tailored for both engineering teams and external customer executives.
- Strong active listening and interpersonal skills with a proven track record of guiding diverse, international workforces toward a common goal.
- Google Suites PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a strong asset.
- Preferred Involved, negotiation type communication on a regular basis with internal and external parties
