Responsibilities

  • architecture design, detailed design, performing customer briefings/reviews, and hardware test.
  • The candidate will perform designs in a team environment with other engineering functions, including Ground Hardware Engineering, Flight Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, Product Engineering, Software Engineering, Production, Procurement, and Program Management to meet schedule and technical requirements.
  • Principal Engineer Digital FPGA to join our team in the development and integration of complex electronic test systems and electronic hardware units in support of space flight programs.
  • This individual would act as a responsible design engineer (RDE) supporting digital development on our program.
  • The RDE responsibilities include FPGA and PCB: architecture design, detailed design, performing customer briefings/reviews, and hardware test.
  • Design, integration, and test of Digital circuits

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship is required for all positions with a government clearance and certain other restricted positions.

Nice to have

  • FPGA development
  • Small to large electronic subsystems
  • Detailed Digital analysis at the component level
  • Worst case performance analysis for critical Digital signals
  • Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering from an accredited institution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Active Top Secret & SCI clearance

Compensation

  • $125,300.00 - $187,900.00
  • $156,400.00 - $234,600.00
  • Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
  • Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
  • The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
