About the role

  • O'Maley College of Business is seeking part-time adjunct faculty members to teach one or two sections of ACCT 210, Financial Accounting, during the Fall 2026 semester.
  • The courses will be taught face-to-face on the Daytona Beach campus.
  • ACCT 210 introduces students to the fundamental concepts and principles of financial accounting.

Requirements

  • Professional experience in accounting, auditing, financial reporting, taxation, corporate finance, or a related field.
  • Ability to explain foundational accounting concepts clearly to students from different academic backgrounds.
  • Required Education and Qualifications:
  • A graduate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a closely related field, with sufficient graduate-level accounting coursework. A doctoral degree or professional accounting certification, such as a CPA or CMA, is preferred.
  • Effective written and oral communication, interpersonal, and classroom-management skills.
  • Sensitivity to academic and cultural diversity and demonstrated proficiency in using computer applications, learning-management systems, online resources, and other instructional technologies.
