About the role

O'Maley College of Business is seeking part-time adjunct faculty members to teach one or two sections of ACCT 210, Financial Accounting, during the Fall 2026 semester.
The courses will be taught face-to-face on the Daytona Beach campus.
ACCT 210 introduces students to the fundamental concepts and principles of financial accounting.

Requirements

Professional experience in accounting, auditing, financial reporting, taxation, corporate finance, or a related field.
Ability to explain foundational accounting concepts clearly to students from different academic backgrounds.
Required Education and Qualifications:
A graduate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a closely related field, with sufficient graduate-level accounting coursework. A doctoral degree or professional accounting certification, such as a CPA or CMA, is preferred.
Effective written and oral communication, interpersonal, and classroom-management skills.
Sensitivity to academic and cultural diversity and demonstrated proficiency in using computer applications, learning-management systems, online resources, and other instructional technologies.

Nice to have
