About the role
- This January, we will host our annual Women's Winternship at Virtu's Headquarters in New York.
- Our Winternship program offers students an intense and exciting inside view into the world of global trading and the impact Virtu has on the global financial markets.
- If you work hard as an individual and a collaborator and have the constant curiosity to ask the question "why", then this program is right for you!
Nice to have
- Outstanding quantitative problem‐solving skills and mathematical aptitude
- Intermediate/ Advanced programming experience (Python preferred)
- Interest in a career in financial services
- Excellent academic background (all subjects welcome).
- Preferred experience in the following areas: Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics
Skills
- Training on market-making fundamentals paired with immersive exercises using the tools of expert traders at Virtu
- Meeting and networking with senior traders and leadership
- Fun social events such as dinners, a tour of the NYSE, Broadway shows, and more!
- Early opportunity to be evaluated for Virtu's Summer Internship Program for 2028
