About the role

Requirements

  • However, applicable industry and other relevant technical skills will be considered for candidates without previous direct utility and/or system planning experience.
  • Software Proficiency: Advanced capability with steady state power system modeling and simulation software (e.g., TARA, PSS/E, PowerWorld, PSLF, CYME, etc.).
  • Additional consideration given to experience with a dynamic stability, short circuit, PV/QV, transfer limit analyses and software.
  • Ability to comprehend regulatory processes/requirements and formulate an action plan to achieve results and ensure compliance.
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, or a related discipline, is required.
  • Additional consideration given to applicants with an advanced degree and / or professional certifications.
  • Familiarity with Local, State, Regional, and Federal regulatory standards, processes, and requirements.

Compensation

  • The salary range for this position is dependent on location and experience level ranging from $100,000 - $120,500
