Responsibilities
- Designs, develops, and implements automated systems to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Evaluates and provides justification, specifications, scope of work, design drawings, bidding, scheduling, supervision, and commissioning of assigned automation projects.
- Provides support for all automation equipment across various facilities and departments, utilizing technical expertise in the fields such as mechanical, electrical, automation, and process engineering.
- Arranges outside contractors to perform work at the facility.
- Participates in the preparation and maintaining engineering designs with the ability to perform basic design work using CAD software.
- Automation programming/PLC experience in a manufacturing environment including process controls, problem solving, troubleshooting, design and implementation of automated systems
