Responsibilities

  • Coordinates and assigns technicians to set up, install, repair, and maintain all equipment and venue operations.
  • Maintains a documentation system for all attractions and ensures a daily report is completed for all activities performed during their assigned shift.
  • Ensures all Ride & Attraction equipment maintains the highest level of safety in accordance with USH Policies, accepted manufacturing practices and local standards.
  • Performs all technical oversight duties and takes on all technical responsibilities in the absence of technical support personnel.
  • Develops an open working relationship with Specialty & General Contractors to ensure a clear line of communication regarding installation, test, and maintenance activities.
  • Ensures that collective bargaining agreements are upheld by partnering with HR and Labor Relations departments to maintain positive union relationships.
  • Develops and implements action plans for the department's future successes including training programs, workforce planning, and rewards and recognition programs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Provides technical guidance and mentoring as required to Ride & Attraction Technicians within the day-to-day detailed installation, test, and maintenance activities in the field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of day-to-day operation of a theme park, theatre, or related business required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • As part of our selection process, external candidates may be required to attend an in-person interview with an NBCUniversal employee at one of our locations prior to a hiring decision.

Compensation

  • $90,000 - $120,000 ( plus bonus )

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • 3-5 years of operations management/team leadership experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to multi-task and be flexible is essential.
