About the role
- The Construction Project Manager position will report directly to the Senior Director of Facilities and Capital Planning as well as interface with the COO and coordinate regularly with central and school-based operations team members and school Leaders.
- The position will be based out of Philadelphia.

- The Construction Project Manager will directly manage contractors, engineers and architectural partners.

Requirements
- Ability to physically perform the essential duties of the role as required, and to work in the environmental conditions required, such as: traveling to network campuses
- Must have valid driver's license and vehicle, or access to reliable transportation

- Education and Experience:
- Preferred experience running multiple projects within education environment (e.g., school district or university settings)
- Physical/Environmental Requirements:
- maneuvering in office spaces (including standing, walking, sitting for long periods of time, speaking loudly and clearly, seeing and hearing things both near and far away)
- stooping, kneeling, reaching file cabinets/shelves
- fine finger and hand manipulation in use of computer, chalkboard, dry erase, &/or projectors
- filing, faxing, scanning, coping, typing, mailing, and making phone calls
- sitting for up to two (2) hours looking at a computer monitor, using a keyboard/mouse, and typing.
- Other Requirements:
- Position requires local &/or regional travel to Mastery and other sites. Must have valid driver's license and vehicle, or access to reliable transportation
Nice to have
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field
- A minimum of five years of experience in construction and/or property management, with a minimum of three years in a supervisory capacity
Compensation
- The Construction Project Manager at Mastery can expect a starting salary between $62,700 to $76,600, based on education and experience, with opportunities for growth as your career progresses.
