About the role
- Department Operations Supervises group and individual activities, encourages children involvement, and interacts with each child in a caring and supportive manner, whether in structured or free play.
- Provides custodial care to assigned group, maintaining the routine of each child according to prescribed procedures, and attending to the physical and nurturing needs of each child on an individual basis.
- Ensures smooth transition for child and parent at arrival and departure times.
Responsibilities
- Assists the Lead Teacher with the preparation and implementation of monthly/weekly lesson plans.
- Communicates regularly with Lead Teacher regarding child participation, progress, and development, as well as expressing problems and concerns.
- Quality and Safety Assists the Lead Teacher in creating a safe and secure environment that is orderly, clean, and appealing, and permits the child to grow and explore.
- Maintains a healthy environment by keeping the children clean and teaching and practicing good hygiene.
