Responsibilities

  • The Enterprise Effects Division (EED) drives integration of Aerospace's strategic capabilities across the national space enterprise.
  • EED spans the capability lifecycle from concept and architecture design to performance assessment to application of space-enabled mission effects.
  • The Cross-Mission Effectiveness Department (CMED) in the Integrated Performance Subdivision leads integration and application of modeling and simulation capabilities and modern analysis workflows to support end-to-end effects kill chain analysis and space-enabled campaign modeling.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited program in computer science, electrical engineering, optical engineering, physics, mathematics, or related field
  • Three or more years of experience in modern software development using a systems software language
  • Proficiency in C / C++, preferably in C++20
  • Experience with Python
  • Experience in modeling and simulation software development
  • A bias for action and the ability to identify shortcomings and address them with initiative
  • U.S citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance
  • It would be impressive if you have one or more of these:
  • A Masters degree or PhD in applicable STEM areas or other relevant disciplines
  • Proficiency with the Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration, and Modeling (AFSIM) and/or similar tools in analysis and software development capacities
