About the role

  • Delivering emotional intelligence learning solutions that strengthen workforce readiness, leadership effectiveness, and mission performance.
  • The program combines coaching, facilitated discussions, reflective exercises, and assessment-based learning to enhance workplace relationships, decision-making, resilience, and organizational effectiveness across civilian and defense environments.

Responsibilities

  • We seek Emotional Intelligence Training Instructor | Emotional Intelligence Training [USARC0011011] candidates with relevant DOD/Military Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for DOD/Military Sector Clients such as USARC.
  • Develop lesson plans; facilitate classroom and virtual instruction; conduct assessments; provide coaching and feedback; support curriculum updates and survey-driven improvements.
  • Through self-awareness, empathy, relationship management, and behavioral analysis, participants develop the interpersonal competencies necessary to lead effectively, communicate with greater impact, and build high-performing teams.

  • Technical Expertise - Applying specialized knowledge, analytical skills, and practical experience to solve complex problems with accuracy.
  • Innovation & Knowledge Sharing (Thought Leadership) - Generating creative solutions, sharing insights, and influencing industry direction through expertise, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Business Tools - understanding and proficiency with business tools and technology, including Microsoft Office.
  • The ideal candidate is advanced with Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Curiosity - the ideal candidate exhibits an inquisitive nature and the ability to question the status quo among a community of people they enjoy and teams that work well together.

Nice to have

  • 5-10+ years professional training, facilitation, instructional delivery, or military/civilian workforce development.
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
  • instructional certifications preferred.
  • Leadership, collaboration, problem solving, communication, adaptability, customer focus.
  • The Emotional Intelligence Training Instructor typically provides 1 Day (8 Hours) Instructor-Led Training (ILT) / Virtual Engagements serving as a Content
