About the role

  • This is a 10-month position and includes the planning, development, and implementation of all program activities, including but not limited to recruitment, instruction, student-athlete development, and competitive coaching.
  • The Head Coach's responsibilities include scheduling, coordinating team travel, leading fundraising initiatives and camps, and representing and promoting the tennis programs in alignment with RIT, Liberty League, and NCAA guidelines.
  • The Head Coach will effectively recruit highly qualified student-athletes through collaboration with the Office of Enrollment Management and the Intercollegiate Athletics leadership team.

Requirements

  • Ability to attract, recruit, retain, inspire and motivate highly qualified student-athletes
  • Effective interpersonal, written, and electronic communications skills, including the ability to convey complex information in accessible terms to diverse or multicultural audiences
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • 3 years of relevant experience
  • NCAA Coaches Certification, or ability to pass certification test
  • This will be required to ensure your application is processed in a timely manner.

Compensation

  • In compliance with NYS's Pay Transparency Act, the salary range for this position is listed above.
  • $40,000 - $51,753
