About the role

  • Summary: The Vacaville Reporter, a a proud subsidiary of MediaNews Group is seeking a dynamic Account Executive to connect regional businesses with cutting-edge multimedia advertising solutions.
  • Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to geographic location, education, work experience, time in role, certifications, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively prospect, qualify, grow, and maintain all sales activities, from lead generation through close in an assigned territory or category
  • Create market presentations and sales proposals while working with the client's budget
  • Actively pursue and maintain an understanding of new digital trends in the media industry
  • From print to state-of-the-art digital media, you will design custom marketing strategies that deliver real results for your clients.

Requirements

  • Must be willing to submit and pass the necessary required checks
  • Must be available for shift work.

Nice to have

  • Proven track record of success in driving revenue
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities
  • New business development skills preferred
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and customer relationship skills
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
  • Previous experience in a sales environment required
  • Direct experience with advertising and digital campaigns preferred

Compensation

  • The hourly range is $18.00 - $19.00 + cell phone stipend, and commission (OTE $50,000-$60,000+).
  • Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to geographic location, education, work experience, time in role, certifications, etc.
  • In addition to your salary, the Company offers eligible employees a variety of benefits including medical, dental, life and disability insurance, 401k, as well as paid time off and select paid holidays (all benefits are based on eligibility).
