Responsibilities
- Supports metalworking projects from planning and fabrication through assembly, inspection, and testing
- Cleans and maintains machines, tools, and cutting equipment to sustain reliable production
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience on multi-axis lathes and mills or other CNC machines
- Must be available for overtime and weekends as the schedule varies depending on site operational needs
- flexibility is required
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs unassisted
- Experience with open setup inspection, including manual inspection tools and coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) or other automated inspection equipment
Skills
- 1+ years of CNC programming experience
- Experience operating drill presses, grinders, and related metalworking equipment
- Experience using multi-axis CNC programming software such as Mastercam or Aspire
- Experience using manual mills and lathes
- Experience applying Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma practices in a production machining environment
