Responsibilities
- Maintain compliance with EPA, OSHA, NERC, and state/local environmental permits (Title V, SWPP, SPCC)
- Develop and implement safety programs such as Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Confined Space Entry, Fall Protection, and Arc Flash Safety
- Identify hazards and lead corrective and preventative actions
- Deliver safety orientations and specialized training for employees and contractors
- Lead safety committee meetings and promote a strong safety culture
- Lead the Emergency Response Team (ERT) and coordinate emergency drills
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Plant Manager
- Willingness to support on‑call needs during outages or incidents
- Shape and own the EHS function in a newly created, autonomous role at the Blythe facility
- Directly influence safety culture and lead meaningful, lasting improvements
Requirements
- Maintain OSHA 300 logs and all required incident documentation
Nice to have
- Preferred certifications: CSP, CIH, or ASP
Compensation
- We offer a competitive salary range of $89,800 - $110,600 per year, commensurate with experience, education, and skills.
