About the role
- Field Application Engineer – Power Supply
- We are seeking a Field Application Engineer to support customers with the design, integration, and optimization of Phihong's power supply solutions. This role bridges product design and customer support, playing a key role in both technical problem-solving and product development.
Responsibilities
- Support customer design-in activities for PSU products (AC-DC, DC-DC converters, adapters, etc.)
- Perform lab testing, troubleshooting, and failure analysis of PSU systems
- Develop and present technical documents, application notes, and product training materials
- Collaborate with R&D teams to improve existing products based on customer feedback and market needs
- Participate in product definition, validation, and design reviews
- Travel to customer sites (as needed) to support design activities and resolve issues
- This role bridges product design and customer support, playing a key role in both technical problem-solving and product development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in Power Supply, preferably with PSU design and/or FAE responsibilities
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; bilingual in Mandarin is a plus
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
