About the role
- To provide individual and small group educational advising to students.
- Assist with registration and student service activities as needed.
- Interact with parents and guardians of students while ensuring the students FERPA rights are protected.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate record of student interactions.Work collaboratively with other advisors and staff in developing specialized programs for student's academic development.
Requirements
- This will include but is not limited to providing assistance in the areas of course planning, career exploration, transfer information, and academic and technical degree and certificate completion.
- Review degree plans and advise students with academic, developmental and probationary concerns.
