About the role
- The role also includes handling phone inquiries and counseling, as well as conducting client pre-screening, intake, and needs assessments.
- This position is currently part-time(24 hrs/week); however, there may be an opportunity for conversion to a full-time position in the future based on organizational needs and funding availability.
Responsibilities
- Provide quarterly outreach seminars and workshops for low-income individuals on social services, employment resources, and other community support programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in social services, social work, psychology, or related human service field, earned in the United States
- Knowledge of Korean immigrant community and bilingual proficiency (both verbal and written fluency) in English and Korean is a must.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and virtual meeting platforms.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends as required by program activities.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience facilitating workshops, presentations, group discussions, or educational programs preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel for outreach events, workshops, and community meetings.
Nice to have
- Experience with data entry, record keeping, and program reporting preferred.
