  • This is an entry level engineering position within Duke Energy's Engineering job hierarchy.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day operational and maintenance support of the station's Power Block.
  • Develop preventive maintenance and outage plans, update procedures and technical documents.
  • Identify and manage O&M and capital project scopes.
  • Provide engineering analysis, troubleshooting, and technical support.

Requirements

  • Must have obtained Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited program
  • A Master's degree in Engineering will be considered in lieu of the B.S. Engineering degree
  • familiarity with GE turbines/HRSGs
  • Ability to review specs/drawings
  • Valid Drivers License required
  • Required to wear personal protective equipment (hardhat, safety glasses, appropriate clothing, ear plugs, fall protection, etc.), as needed
  • Ability to lift 25

Compensation

  • $25k-$75k
