About the role

  • As a Material Handler at KLA Corporation, you will be a key contributor to our manufacturing and logistics operations.
  • This role involves advanced material handling duties, ensuring the efficient and accurate movement, storage, and inventory management of critical components and finished goods.
  • Operate a variety of material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and automated guided vehicles (AGVs) in a safe and efficient manner

Responsibilities

  • Perform all aspects of material handling, including receiving, unpacking, inspecting, storing, issuing, and shipping materials and products.
  • Lead and train junior material handlers on best practices, safety procedures, and system operations.
  • Collaborate with production, planning, quality, and shipping departments to ensure seamless material flow and on-time delivery
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all KLA safety policies and procedures.
  • You will operate various material handling equipment and utilize complex inventory systems to support production schedules and customer delivery.
  • Identify and implement process improvements within the material handling and warehousing functions to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Requirements

  • 2 years of related experience

Nice to have

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a material handling, warehouse, or logistics role, preferably in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
  • Proven expertise in operating various material handling equipment, including a valid certification for forklift operation.
  • Advanced proficiency with ERP and WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles, including FIFO, LIFO, and cycle counting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to train and mentor others.
