Responsibilities
- TSC is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to support work at the Naval Research Laboratory.
- The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the design, analysis, fabrication, testing, and integration of electrical systems for both ground support equipment and flight hardware.
- This role involves developing analog and digital circuitry to support measurement, control, and instrumentation functions for thermal and electromechanical systems.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in the design, analysis, fabrication, testing, and integration of electrical systems for ground support and flight systems.
- Experience designing, analyzing, and testing analog and digital circuitry for thermal, electromechanical, control, and instrumentation systems.
- Expertise in the sizing, technology selection, packaging, and testing of power systems, including batteries of various chemistries.
- Strong understanding of component ratings, environmental and performance limitations, radiation impacts, grounding and shielding methods, electromagnetic compatibility, and thermal effects.
- Proficiency with electronics design and simulation tools such as OrCAD, PSpice, ELECTRO, and MAGNETO.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
Nice to have
- Experience with government procurement practices, regulations, and compliance requirements is a plus.
Compensation
- In compliance with applicable pay transparency laws, the expected salary range for this position is $130,000 - $190,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
