Responsibilities
- Drive assigned vehicle and deliver/pick up shipments
- Help maintain a secure, organized, clean, and safe warehouse and vehicle
- Maintain acceptable driving record and current driver's license
Requirements
- Maintain additional endorsements as required by equipment (airbrakes, tanker)
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Knowledge of delivery area and ability to read maps
Nice to have
- One-year experience as a CDL driver preferred
- Transact all business in accordance to Patterson Companies' business code of conduct and business ethics
- Point of contact for customer service and help resolve customer complaints
- Load and unload assigned vehicle.
- Ensure all loads are properly secure for transport.
- Operate all warehouse equipment/machinery
- Achieve assigned performance metrics and KPIs
- Handle all hazardous materials, pesticides, and prescription drugs according to the Company's processes/procedures and applicable laws and regulations
