Skills: Strong knowledge of construction methods.
Requires an associate's degree in Building Construction, Construction Technology, or a closely related field.
The instructor must be able to read and interpret technical documents such as safety regulations, building codes, blueprints, and construction manuals.

Experience in residential and/or commercial construction preferred.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Must hold (or be willing to obtain) OSHA certification, forklift certification, and other industry certifications preferred.
A combination of licensure and/or certification in conjunction with work experience may be considered in the absence of a college degree.

Strong knowledge of construction methods.
Ability to demonstrate and teach carpentry, framing, finishing, and general construction techniques.
Ability to effectively communicate technical information verbally and in writing.
Basic computer skills and ability to use instructional technologies.
