About the role
- 16-bed facility for youth (ages 12-17) dealing with acute psychiatric symptoms

- Orders, prepares, administers, and documents the administration of medication for clients according to physician's orders.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent (e.g. GED, HiSET, etc.) required
- One (1) year nursing experience required, preferably treating the mentally ill in an inpatient setting. (Clinical nursing school rotations may be substituted for work experience)
- A valid California LVN or LPT license is required.
- Valid CPR certification required within 30 days of employment.
- Valid ProAct certification required within 30 days of employment.
- Supports admission processes to ensure PHF beds remain full, including reviewing admission packets and securing approval, scheduling admissions, and completing all required verifications & forms upon arrival in facility.
Nice to have
- Graduation from an accredited school of licensed vocational nursing, graduation from an accredited school of psychiatric technology, or associate's degree in nursing or social sciences preferred.
- One (1) year medication administration experience preferred.
