About the role

  • This position is responsible for providing support to the company's Insurance Departments by performing data entry, scanning and revising reports as required by the company's indemnification programs, and assisting in maintenance of department compliance.
  • The Insurance Administrator serves as a key liaison between internal teams, insurance agents, and transportation providers to ensure insurance documentation and compliance requirements are met.
  • This role requires strong attention to detail, proactive communication, and the ability to manage multiple processes in a collaborative, service-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Input and maintain accurate systems data, compile reports and scan documents relating to the company's indemnification programs
  • Manages Conflict - Handles conflict situations effectively with a minimum of noise
  • Communicates Effectively - Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple processes and deadlines simultaneously

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • 2-4 years' relevant experience required

Nice to have

  • Review certificates of insurance and indemnification agreements
  • report deficiencies through compliance reports to respective managers
  • generate correspondence when a provider is not in compliance
  • Part-time schedule of approximately 20 hours per week, with preferred working hours between 12:00 PM-5:00 PM or 1:00 PM-5:00 PM (Eastern)
  • Has developed knowledge and skills through job related training or considerable experience
  • Often entry level for those with work experience in relevant areas
  • Works within established procedure with a moderate degree of supervision
  • Identifies the problem and all relevant issues in straightforward situations
